Hello!
I can't believe we have reached the end of our first "normal" school year in over 2 years! Ash Tree have been absolutely fantastic this and a dream to teach. They have got involved with so many extra-curricular activities and clubs and I hope they continue this in either Year 6 or Year 7.
We have so many happy memories from this year and wish the children the best of luck for their new starts in September whether they will be staying with us for another year or moving on.
We have enjoyed celebrating the end of our Year 6's primary school journey over the last couple of weeks which was topped off by their fantastic leavers' performance yesterday. Please follow the link below to see a gallery of pictures of all of their highlights over the last few weeks.

We would like to say a massive thank you to the children for all their hard work over the last year and to all the parents and carers for all their support. We are so grateful for all the wonderful and thoughtful gifts and cards we have received. Thank you!
So finally...
Have a fabulous summer and see some of you in September!

Hi,
This week the Year 5's in Ash have enjoyed learning more about our science topic this term, Earth and Space and have also completed some writing linked to our class guided reading text. I have been really impressed by their excellent behaviour and effort they put into their learning even at this tiring time of year!
Year 6 have been busy rehearsing for their performance next week but unfortunately due to the hot weather we have made the decision to move the performance from Tuesday afternoon to Thursday morning. Hopefully this will make the performance much more comfortable (and safer!) for both the children and the audience. Please discuss with your child this weekend how many tickets you will require for the performance so they can tell us on Monday.
Finally, with the amber weather warning in place for Monday and Tuesday, we are expecting it to be very uncomfortable in school. Please send your child appropriately dressed (P.E kit is fine) and with a sun hat, suncream and water bottle.
Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sunshine safely!

Hi,
The highlight of this week was definitely sports day! It was great to be able to return to a whole KS2 event and welcome parents back to watch. Here are a few snapshots from Wednesday afternoon!
Year 6 were also very excited this week as they received their leavers' hoodies which were very kindly paid for by the PTA.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine!
