Weekly Update 6.2.26

We have had a week full of rain and wet play but also full of learning.
In English, we have started writing instructions for how to get Cinderella ready for the ball. We will continue these next week!
In maths, Year 1 have continued working with arrays to solve repeated addition number sentences and have also looked at how to divide by sharing and grouping. Year 2 have recapped how to solve multiplication and division number sentences using a range of different strategies, We will be learning about money next week!
Elsewhere in the curriculum we have enjoyed creating maps of the school as part of our geography unit of work about Yeadon. We have also planned and designed Cinderella moving pictures which we will be making after the holidays in DT.
