Weekly Update - 27.2.26

Hello,
Welcome back! We have had a great first week back. I have been especially impressed this week with the quality of writing Maple Tree have produced when writing their Yeti character descriptions!
In maths, Mrs Trotter's group have been finding fractions of amounts and my group have really got stuck into the algebra unit we started before the half term break.
Excitement is mounting for the Year 6 residential trip to Peat Rigg. Mrs Trotter and I had a short meeting with the children on Wednesday to answer any last minute questions. Just a reminder that if your child requires any medication that is not required during the school day then a medical form will need to be completed (this include travel sickness pills). On Wednesday, children should arrive at the normal time but come to the hall using the side doors. On Friday, we should return around the time of the end of the school day. If we are running very late, the office will send a text message to parents. Please email the class email address or contact the office if you have any questions.
