Dear parents/carers
On Tuesday 15th September, award-winning children's author, Tom Palmer, will be visiting KS2 to talk about his books and the importance of reading. Tom has written over 70 books - including the popular "football academy" series and several about WW2.
Tom's visit is particularly relevant to Year 5 and 6, as his latest novel "If the Invader Comes" is set during WW2 which is their topic this half term. If you wish to purchase a copy of Tom's latest novel for your child to collect and have signed on the day, please complete the £7.99 payment on ParentPay. All children in KS2 will attend Tom's assembly regardless of purchase.
Please note, the deadline for orders is 4pm on Monday 7th September.
