Just one more week to go! And each morning of this penultimate week has begun with a Grime genre of song – interesting!! Dizzee Rascal was a huge hit in our classroom on Tuesday morning!
Our Ukulele Gig was a definite highlight – and it was so encouraging to see many parents and other family members come along to watch it. Thank you – I hope you felt as proud as I did – what a long way they have come since September. We really enjoyed playing Livin' on a Prayer, but their best song, I think, was Green Green Grass.
The children spent Wednesday morning with their new Y6 teacher and they seemed very happy on their return. Exciting times ahead for you all! I shall miss this class very much when they move 'up'.
As usual, we shall be sending home some work and books that the children have used this past year (although in Y5, some folders move up to Y6 with them), so could you please ensure your child has a carrier bag suitable to bring these home next Thursday? Don't forget our disco is on Tuesday evening - you should have had a jotter message explaining how to get tickets etc.
