The end of the school year is fast approaching – and we, in Oak Tree Class, are busy finishing units and schemes. In science this week, we enjoyed an active lesson, learning all about and we have come to the end of our Athletics unit in PE. I have been so impressed by some children’ abilities across these skills – especially in javelin throwing and the triple jump. But all children have been putting in supreme efforts in PE this half term, which has been so pleasing to see.
In art, we continue to explore skills for drawing birds – using pencil crayons this week and we have spent much time rehearsing for our ukulele gig, which you will remember takes place THIS MONDAY, in the hall at 2.30pm. Hope to see you there!
We are all excited about the two high school visits – first one today. If you have not received information about these important visits, please do contact the school office asap.
Also, the Y6 children will be holding theiur 'Grow a Fiver' market place on Wednesday, 9 July and we will all have the opportunity to buy some of their products and get an idea for what we might do next year! Please do send your child in with some cash to support this event if you vcan. There will also be a chance for you to visit these stalls with your child after school on Wednesday.
Have a great weekend.
