Weekly Update 16.10.26
Posted: Oct 16, 2026 by: Mrs Trotter (l.trotter) on: Ash Tree Class Blog
Hi,
Ash Tree Class completed their evacuee diary entries this week. They completed these in the role of an evacuee, expressing the thoughts and feelings that children of this era may have experienced. Some of the entries are on display in the main school corridor - take a look on parents' evening next week.
If you haven't booked a parents' evening appointment, I still have availability on both Tuesday and Wednesday. I am looking forward to sharing with parents how children have settled into this incredibly busy half term.
We are sending some additional rationing homework this weekend which could be an exciting project over the holidays.
Year 5 children also have the opportunity to do an informal audition for the 2027 Year 5 show next week. The children will also have the opportunity to take part in a singing workshop.
Another busy week until the holidays!
Have a lovely weekend
Mrs Trotter
