Autumn 1 Week 7 w.e 14.10.26
Posted: Oct 14, 2026 by: Mr Dring (p.dring) on: Beech Tree Class Blog
Good afternoon
What a busy week of fun learning! Following on from Roman road making last week, the children thoroughly enjoyed (even despite the weather) our Roman Day in the Life of a soldier at Murton Park. Thank you again to those parents who volunteered to attend with us so that we could all go on this trip. There will be photos to follow of the trip soon so watch this space and our class webpage.
In English the children have been designing and describing their own original alien planet/world to develop a detailed setting description. In maths, we have moved onto subtracting 4-digit numbers with exchanges using column method.
We look forward to seeing you next week at Parents' Evening - it will be Mr Dring on Tuesday evening and Miss Maher on Wednesday evening.
Have a great weekend.
Mr Dring and Miss Maher.
